Wagerr is a specialized blockchain project focused on creating a decentralized sports betting platform. This is a deflationary model where a portion of the tokens used in betting fees is permanently removed from circulation, which is intended to align the token's utility with the overall usage of the platform. The network is secured through a hybrid system involving staking and Masternodes. Masternodes are specialized servers that provide the infrastructure for the decentralized oracles and process transactions. Users who operate these nodes or participate in staking are rewarded with new tokens for helping to secure the network and provide the data feeds necessary for the betting market. One of the core philosophies of the project is user privacy and accessibility.
