Session Messenger

Session crypto protocol is a decentralized, private messenger that allows users to chat with each other without leaving any digital leads on the web. According to its docs, it is going to have a utility Session token, the primary utility of which is rewarding node runners, subscribing to a pro version of the app, and staking to access revenue-sharing.

Although the current funding of the project remains undisclosed, it is publicly available that the developer and main backer of the product was Oxen - a developer of a privacy-based payment platform.
