In May 2024, the Crypto Unicorns project transitioned from its legacy RBW token on the Polygon network to a new token called Crypto Unicorns ($CU). This migration moved the project's core governance asset to the Arbitrum and XAI blockchains. The change was implemented to enhance the game's infrastructure and overall ecosystem performance.
Users can convert their RBW tokens to $CU using the official bridge provided by the project. The conversion ratio is fixed at 10 RBW for every 1 CU token received. While there is no immediate hard deadline for the manual bridge process, most liquidity for the original RBW token has been removed, making migration the primary way to maintain asset utility.
CU (formerly RBW) is the primary governance token used for breeding Unicorn NFTs, staking in the DAO, and making purchases in the ecosystem marketplace.
