It utilizes a "Continuous Interest Rate Curve" to determine rates based on pool utilization across specific maturity dates. This approach eliminates the need for complex custom automated market makers (AMMs), allowing users to borrow or deposit with predictable outcomes and better financial planning.
When users deposit assets like USDC or WETH into the Variable Rate Pool, they receive exaVouchers. These are ERC-4626 compliant tokens that serve as receipts for the deposit. Over time, these vouchers periodically accrue earnings, meaning their value increases relative to the underlying deposited asset. This mechanism allows liquidity providers to track their principal and interest within the Exactly ecosystem efficiently.
