The Aster Chain is a dedicated Layer-1 blockchain designed to optimize the trading experience. Transitioning from a multi-chain dApp, this sovereign chain is built specifically for high-frequency trading. It utilizes Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) to ensure privacy and security. A key feature of this infrastructure is its ability to support "Hidden Orders," which allows professional traders to execute large positions without being front-run or targeted by MEV bots on public on-chain order books.
The ASTER token is the core utility asset of the platform with a fixed maximum supply of 8 billion tokens. Its utility is divided into three main pillars: Governance, which allows holders to vote on treasury and fee structures; Fee Discounts, providing tiered reductions for active traders; and Revenue Sharing. By staking ASTER, users can earn a direct portion of the platform’s trading fees, aligning the token's value with the overall growth and activity of the exchange.
Aster features unique yield-bearing assets that maximize user returns. asBNB is a liquid staking token that allows traders to earn staking rewards while simultaneously using it as collateral for high-leverage trades. USDF is a yield-bearing stablecoin used as margin that generates passive income even when a trader has open positions.
