Raini is a decentralized gaming and NFT ecosystem known as the Rainiverse. The game featured unique mechanics where players sacrificed cards to gain resource gems and battled with mythical creatures and crypto-inspired legends. This game allowed for digital ownership of cards through blockchain technology. However, as part of a strategic pivot, Raini Studios officially shut down the game in July 2025. The studio is currently focusing its efforts on a new generation of titles intended to reach a wider audience. These upcoming games include Lucha Throwdown, a combat-focused card game, and Uncaged: The Jon Jones Brawler, an action title featuring the mixed martial arts legend. The project has implemented a deflationary economic model for the RST token, which involves using a portion of studio revenue from these new titles to manage the token supply through buyback and burn mechanisms.
