Anyone can become a fund manager by using the BTS Factory to forge a new basket. Managers select their desired assets and weightings, then mint the fund. Additionally, the management rights of a fund are tokenized as NFTs, allowing managers to sell their successful fund operations on the Alvara Marketplace.
Security and transparency are central to the Alvara Protocol. All Basket Tokens (BTS) are 100% collateralized, meaning the underlying assets are held securely within audited smart contracts. Investors retain full custody of their value; they can exit a fund at any time by burning their LP tokens to reclaim their proportional share of the underlying assets.
