A 5% fee is captured from all transaction volumes, with half of those funds allocated to the Staking Pool for holder rewards and the other half directed to the Foundation to fund high-quality content and creator grants.
The Sandbox is built on the Ethereum blockchain but utilizes the Polygon Layer 2 network to facilitate faster and more cost-effective transactions for marketplace activities and staking. An official bridge is provided for users to transfer tokens between Ethereum and Polygon. While currently available on PC and Mac, a mobile version is planned for the near future.
