It functions as an over-collateralized asset backed by high-quality deposits within the Sumer.Money lending market, such as ETH, WBTC, USDC, or USDT. It is designed to be fungible across all supported blockchains, including Base, Meter, and Ethereum, allowing users to maintain liquidity across different ecosystems without fragmenting their capital.

The "Traveler’s Check" model allows users to mint suUSD on one chain while keeping their primary collateral on its native network. This enables users to utilize the minted suUSD to interact with DeFi protocols on different blockchains without moving the underlying assets.
