LBank Card lets you pay at merchants that accept Visa using the available balance in your LBank Spot Account, without transferring funds to a separate card account. This guide covers common questions about applying for a card, fees, transactions, refunds, and cashback. Eligibility, fees, and benefits are subject to the latest information displayed on the LBank Card page.

Applications & Card Issuance

  1. What types of LBank Card are available?

  2. Who can apply for an LBank Card?

    • After completing dentity verification (KYC), you can proceed to the application process. Eligibility remains subject to the latest compliance requirements. If your country or region is not supported, the application page will display a notice. Please refer to the information shown on the page and the outcome of your application.

  3. Is there a fee to apply for an LBank Card?

    • There is no issuance fee for the virtual card. The current physical card application fee is 69 USDT. Other transaction-related fees may apply. Before applying or making a transaction, please check the latest fees displayed on the relevant page.

  4. What should I do if I cannot find my LBank Card in the App?

    • Update the LBank App to the latest version, then check the LBank Card application page again. Older versions of the App may still display the discontinued Pre-paid Card application entry.

  5. What should I do if I do not receive a verification code when applying?

    • LBank Card application verification codes are not sent by SMS. Check your notifications or in-app messages in the LBank App, and make sure notifications are enabled on your device. When applying, provide accurate, complete, and consistent information as requested on the application page.

Using the Card & Fees

  1. What should I check before using my LBank Card?

    • Make sure your card is activated and in good standing, and that your Spot Account has enough available balance to cover the purchase, any applicable fees, and any pre-authorization hold. Check that the merchant accepts Visa and that the transaction is not subject to restrictions. You may be asked to enter your Fund Password for certain transactions or when adding the card to a supported payment wallet for the first time.

    • If you need to set up a Fund Password, see details of related instructions in LBank Support Center.

  2. Where can I check my spending limits and transaction fees?

    • Spending limits may vary depending on your account status, VIP level, and other applicable conditions. Please refer to the limits displayed on your LBank Card page. Transaction authorization, currency conversion, cross-border, or other specific transaction fees may apply; check the product page for the latest rates and conditions.

  3. Why can’t I add my card to Apple Pay or Google Pay?

    • Additional security verification may be required when you add your card for the first time. Check that your card is active and your Fund Password is set up, turn off any VPN or proxy, use a stable network, and make sure your device region, language, and account details are consistent. If you still cannot add the card, contact LBank Customer Support and provide a screenshot of the error message.

Transactions, Holds, & Refunds

  1. Why was my transaction declined?

    • Possible reasons include insufficient available balance in your Spot Account, merchant or transaction restrictions, or a security review. Check your card status and balance, and confirm that the merchant accepts Visa. LBank Card currently does not support transactions at automated fuel dispensers (AFDs). If the issue persists, provide LBank Customer Support with your UID, transaction time and amount, and relevant screenshots.

  2. Why is the amount on hold higher than my purchase amount?

    • Some merchants place a pre-authorization hold that is higher than the purchase amount. The additional amount may cover fees, exchange rate changes, or differences in the final settlement amount. Any excess hold will be released after the transaction is settled; the timing depends on the settlement process.

  3. My transaction failed, but my funds are still on hold. What should I do?

    • First, check the transaction status. If the transaction failed, the hold is usually released automatically. If it is still processing, please wait for settlement. If the hold resulted from an insufficient Spot Account balance, add enough funds to your account. Holds caused by insufficient balance are generally released automatically within 30 minutes. If the hold remains after you have added funds and more than 30 minutes have passed, contact LBank Customer Support with your UID and transaction details.

  4. When will my transaction be settled?

    • Settlement depends on the merchant, the Visa network, and the relevant banks. It generally takes several business days. Until settlement is complete, the transaction status, amount on hold, and final charged amount may differ.

  5. How long does a refund take?

    • The time it takes for a refund to arrive depends on the merchant, the Visa network, and the relevant banks. You can first confirm with the merchant whether the refund has been initiated. If you have not received it after an extended period, contact LBank Customer Support with your UID, order number, transaction screenshots, and, if available, the merchant’s refund confirmation and your correspondence with the merchant.

  6. What should I do if I notice a duplicate charge or a potentially unauthorized transaction?

    • If you suspect someone else has used your card, lock it immediately and contact LBank Customer Support. For a duplicate charge or a refund dispute with a merchant, review the transaction and contact the merchant first. Keep your transaction records, screenshots, and correspondence so LBank Customer Support can investigate further.

Cashback & Referrals

  1. How is LBank Card cashback calculated?

    • Eligible LBank Card purchases may earn cashback. Your regular cashback tier for the first month is based on your VIP level. From the following month, the tier is reassessed based on your actual card spending in the previous calendar month. Eligible coffee purchases may earn 10% cashback, capped at 10 USDT per user per calendar month.

    • The monthly caps for regular cashback and coffee cashback are calculated separately. The two offers cannot be combined on the same purchase; if a purchase qualifies for both, the higher applicable cashback rate will apply. For eligibility, caps, and the latest rules, refer to the LBank Card page.

  2. Can I earn referral rebates by inviting friends to use a LBank Card?

    • If a friend uses your referral code when registering for an LBank account, the referral relationship is established automatically. They do not need to enter the code again when applying for an LBank Card. Rebates generated from eligible card fees are shared according to the allocation set by the referrer and are generally distributed on a T+7 basis. Please refer to the latest program rules and the information displayed on the page for eligibility, rebate rates, and distribution timing.
