A major component of the project is its liquidity engine called Bunni. Bunni is built on top of Uniswap v3 and is designed to improve the efficiency of liquidity provision. It transforms Uniswap liquidity positions, which are typically non-fungible tokens, into fungible tokens. This conversion allows for more complex and effective incentivization schemes for liquidity providers, making it easier for projects to maintain deep liquidity for their tokens. The native token of the project is LIT, which stands for Liquidity Incentive Token. LIT serves as the central utility and governance component for the Bunni engine. It is used to incentivize liquidity across different markets, and holders can participate in the governance of the protocol. The tokenomics are designed to align the interests of long-term holders and liquidity providers, discouraging short-term speculative behavior through its staking and reward structures. Key features of the Timeless ecosystem include the ability to boost yield using leverage and the flexibility to speculate on future interest rate movements.
