SolidLizard (SLIZ) is an Automatic Market Maker (AMM) and a decentralized exchange (DEX) operating on the Arbitrum network. It aims to offer deep liquidity, low swap fees, and minimal slippage to its users. The project supports the growth of the Arbitrum ecosystem by rewarding users who contribute liquidity and participate in its governance. The native token of the SolidLizard protocol is SLIZ, which functions as its governance token. Rewards within the system are distributed between liquidity providers and holders of vote-escrowed SLIZ, known as veSLIZ. Liquidity providers receive SLIZ emissions. Holders of veSLIZ can vote on which liquidity pools should receive these SLIZ emissions. In return for their votes, veSLIZ holders receive trading fees and "bribes" collected by the pairs they voted for. This mechanism is designed to direct incentives towards the most valuable teams within the ecosystem. SolidLizard utilizes two distinct pricing curves: the Uniswap v2 model and the Curve Stable Swap. The Curve Stable Swap is particularly suited for trading correlated assets, offering higher trading volumes with reduced slippage. The platform also employs a mechanism called Protocol Owned Liquidity (POL), where a portion of trading fees is used to buy back SLIZ tokens and enhance liquidity in the SLIZ-ETH pool. This helps maintain liquidity and can exert deflationary pressure on SLIZ. Fees for volatile asset trades are 0.4%, while stable assets incur a 0.02% fee.
