Decimated is a massively multiplayer online survival role playing game set in a dystopian post apocalyptic cyberpunk world. Developed by Fracture Labs, the project is built using Unreal Engine 5 to deliver high fidelity graphics and a sprawling open world environment. The game challenges players to survive in a hostile wasteland where they can choose to align with various factions, such as human citizens, cyborg police, or marauding outlaws. The core gameplay involves exploring a vast map to scavenge for resources, completing missions, and engaging in both player versus environment and player versus player combat. Players can build bases, repair vehicles, and trade items to advance their status within the persistent world. The environment features decaying cities, deserts, and safe zones defended by automated security forces. The native utility token for the ecosystem is known as DIO, which operates on the Solana blockchain. This token serves as the primary medium of exchange within the game economy. Unlike many traditional games, the project utilizes a finite supply model where tokens are recirculated rather than constantly generated. Players earn tokens by performing a variety of in game tasks, such as fulfilling legal or illegal contracts, escorting shipments, collecting bounties, or salvaging rare technology. These rewards can then be spent on licenses, vehicles, weapons, and character upgrades. Digital ownership is a central pillar of the project. Many in game assets, including character skins and specialized equipment, exist as non fungible tokens. This allows players to have true ownership over their digital possessions, giving them the ability to trade or sell their items on external marketplaces and within the game peer to peer trading system. The project is currently available in an open alpha phase on major PC gaming platforms including Steam and the Epic Games Store.
