To ensure complete trust and transparency, Kinesis Money Panama S.A., the issuer, provides monthly independent attestations of these reserves. These attestations are crucial as they publicly prove that the entire circulating supply of C1USD tokens is fully collateralized, thereby verifying the reliability and stability of its dollar backing.

To qualify for earning yield on C1USD, you must be a verified (KYC-compliant) Kinesis account holder. The yield, which is currently around 7.5% APY, is intrinsically attached to your Kinesis account rather than the token itself. This means that for the yield to be accrued, C1USD must be held within the Kinesis ecosystem; holding it in a private external wallet may not qualify. Yield calculations are typically processed daily, with distributions occurring monthly, directly paid in C1USD into your account.
