The Aster Chain is a dedicated Layer-1 blockchain designed to optimize the trading experience. Transitioning from a multi-chain dApp, this sovereign chain is built specifically for high-frequency trading. It utilizes Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) to ensure privacy and security. A key feature of this infrastructure is its ability to support "Hidden Orders," which allows professional traders to execute large positions without being front-run or targeted by MEV bots on public on-chain order books.
The ASTER token is the core utility asset of the platform with a fixed maximum supply of 8 billion tokens. Its utility is divided into three main pillars: Governance, which allows holders to vote on treasury and fee structures; Fee Discounts, providing tiered reductions for active traders; and Revenue Sharing.
