The final stage of the 2025 crypto bull run has kept investors guessing, but one of the biggest signals yet has just appeared: a fresh batch of major altcoins is now being officially considered for inclusion in U.S. crypto ETFs.
According to analysis from this development could be the catalyst that kicks off the next big market move by the end of this year.
The Nasdaq recently filed a request to expand its crypto index and four new altcoins could soon be added to the list. The SEC has set a decision deadline for November 2, 2025. If approved, these altcoins could explode in value heading into the final months of 2025.
Even though prices have been moving sideways, the analyst said that the market is quietly preparing for its next big move. With institutional capital flowing in and regulatory decisions around the corner, the final months of 2025 could deliver a strong rally.
Each of the four altcoins brings a unique value proposition that has brought in institutional and regulatory interest:
XRP has been one of the most talked-about assets, largely due to its high-profile legal battle with the SEC.
Despite the legal hurdles, Nasdaq has now filed to include XRP in its crypto index. With regulatory clarity likely improving, an XRP ETF could give the token a push towards new ATHs.
Solana has been a top-performing altcoin in recent years thanks to its fast, low-cost blockchain. With strong developer support and growing adoption in decentralized apps and NFTs, SOL’s addition to a U.S. crypto ETF could attract heavy institutional interest in late 2025.
Cardano remains a favorite in the crypto community for its focus on academic research and scalability. Adding ADA to Nasdaq’s crypto index would open the door for ETF exposure, giving investors another regulated way to invest in this promising blockchain platform.
Often seen as a close cousin to Ripple, Stellar is built for fast, low-cost cross-border payments. If approved, an XLM ETF would shine a spotlight on the project’s ongoing partnerships and use cases in global finance, driving demand and price.
