Additionally, GFI holders are eligible to receive administrative fees generated from all DeFi products on the platform simply by holding the token in their wallets, without the need for staking. These fees are distributed as 50% Ethereum (ETH) and 50% Bitcoin (BTC), with the ETH portion claimable by holders at any time. The BTC portion accrues in a smart contract, contributing to the token's intrinsic value, making GFI "backed by Bitcoin" through these administrative fees.
