Blockchain platform BORA has announced a collaboration with game developer Baligames to co-launch a new Web3 game on LINE NEXT’s Mini Dapp platform. The game, set to debut in the third quarter of 2025, will blend match-3 puzzle mechanics with role-playing game (RPG) elements.

The upcoming title is created specifically for the LINE NEXT Mini Dapp environment, a format optimized for quick, casual gameplay within the massive LINE messenger ecosystem.

The gameplay itself combines familiar match-3 puzzle features with deeper RPG-style progression, layering character development and strategy over a simple and accessible format.

The in-app purchase system will be powered exclusively by BORA tokens, allowing players to acquire game items seamlessly. Notably, the game will feature “Gas Abstraction” through the recent Kaia Consensus Liquidity (Kaia CL) upgrade.

This user-friendly technology enables all transactions to be conducted using only BORA tokens, removing the need for players to hold a separate gas token (like Kaia). This simplifies the process and lowers the barrier to entry for users who may be unfamiliar with complex blockchain operations.

The collaboration between BORA and Baligames is a significant step in bridging the gap between traditional Web2 gaming and emerging Web3 applications. BORA stated it plans to build on this project by joining forces with other developers in the LINE NEXT ecosystem to expand its Web3 game portfolio.
