KYB (Know Your Business) is LBank’s identity verification process for institutional users. It is designed to meet regulatory requirements and help ensure platform security and compliance. After completing KYB verification, institutional users may gain access to higher transaction limits, crypto-related services, and other exclusive benefits.

Please note that individual verification (KYC) and institutional verification (KYB) cannot coexist on the same account. If your account has already completed individual verification, you will not be able to apply for institutional verification.

Before You Start

Before submitting your application, please make sure you have prepared your company’s basic information, identity documents for related parties, and the required corporate documents.

All uploaded corporate documents must be in JPG, JPEG, or PDF format. Each file must not exceed  20 MB, and up to  5  files can be uploaded.

Required information and documents include:

  1. Company basic information, including company name, registration number, nature of business, source of funds, and expected transaction volume.

  2. Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) and director information, including full name, nationality, and shareholding percentage, along with photos of both sides of an ID card or driver’s license, or the photo page of a passport.

  3. Corporate documents, including the Certificate of Incorporation, constitutional documents (such as the Articles of Association), the latest register of members, and the latest register of directors.

  4. If there is an authorized operator, supporting authorization documents must also be provided. You may also optionally upload an ownership structure chart or organizational chart to help speed up the review process.

How to Apply

⚠️KYB applications are currently supported on LBank official website only. Please log in to your LBank account through a browser and go to Institutional Verification.

Begin「Identity Verification」

  1. Visit the official LBank website and log in to your account. Click your profile avatar and select「Dashboard」to enter personal center.

  1. Go to「Identity Verification」and click「Institutional Verification > Continue Verify」to begin the process.

  2. Your progress will be saved automatically while you complete the application, so you can leave and return at any time.

Application Requirements

  1. Provide your company’s basic information, business background, registered address, and business address.

  2. Add information for the Ultimate Beneficial Owner(s) (minimum 1 , maximum 10), directors, and authorized persons.

  3. Follow steps to complete online identity verification for related parties, including document scanning and liveness detection. You may also copy the dedicated verification link, which is valid for  1  day, and send it to the relevant individual to complete the process.

  4. Upload the required official company documents and registers in the supported file formats.

  5. After confirming that all required information is complete, submit for manual review.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the most common questions institutional users have during the KYB application process. Once your complete documents have been submitted, the review team will process them as soon as possible.

  1. After submission for manual review, the review process usually takes 1~3 business days. The result will be sent to your registered email address.

  2. If your application is rejected, you can check the specific reason for rejection, such as incomplete documents or expired identification. After making corrections, you may resubmit the application.

  3. An account can only hold one verification status at a time. If you have already submitted an institutional verification application, please do not submit an individual verification (KYC) application.

  4. When filling in company address information, if the business address is different from the registered address, please select No and enter the actual business address as required.

  5. The identity verification system checks the result automatically. If the status is not updated after some time, please confirm whether the relevant person has completed the liveness check.
