Shortly after, on January 1, 2023, the game made its way to the Steam platform. The games success on the Oculus Quest and SteamVR platforms was soon followed by an expansion to the PlayStation platform. On November 8, 2024, Gorilla Tag was released for PlayStation VR2. This extended availability allowed the game to reach an even wider audience and solidified its position as a leading game in the VR gaming space.
