Despite the significant mishap, the Slerf community and developer responded with transparency and initiated a large-scale refund effort. The community crowdsourced refunds via SOL donations and trading fees, with the full reimbursement of funds to 25,444 wallets completed by October 22, 2025.
To resolve liquidity constraints and streamline refunds, Slerf underwent a 1:2 token migration to a new contract between October 1 and October 20, 2025. This process converted old Slerf tokens to new ones, doubling the supply and aiming to improve market stability. Our exchange and other leading exchanges facilitated this swap.
