    • Lido offers immediate liquidity and wide DeFi composability, which is why it's popular, but that convenience comes with protocol reliance and centralization tradeoffs you should weigh.  
  • Rocket Pool: A decentralized liquid staking protocol for Ethereum that aims to let users stake ETH and receive rETH.
    • Rocket Pool emphasizes decentralization and allows smaller deposits by pooling them, which reduces the barrier to entry for people who don't want to run a full validator.  
  • Liquid staking on Solana: Solana has liquid staking solutions that wrap staked SOL into tradable tokens. The mechanics are similar: stake to validators, receive a derivative.
    • Because Solana's runtime differs from Ethereum's, always check each protocol's audit history and peg-mechanism.
