It also contributes to layer-1 ecosystem governance. Technologically, Astrovault is built on Archway, an incentivized smart contract platform that uses the Cosmos Software Development Kit (SDK). It leverages the CosmWasm-20 (CW-20) standard to create solutions for staking derivatives. The xOSMO token, specifically 'xOSMOAstrovault(xosmo)', is an integral part of the Astrovault ecosystem. It represents a tokenized form of staked OSMO. Astrovault utilizes staking derivatives, such as xOSMO, as base pairs for liquidity. This approach allows the liquidity provided to be staked, which in turn earns rewards that contribute to the Astrovault DAO's revenue. The platform also offers slippage-free 1:1 trade pools, which enable straightforward conversion between derivative assets like xOSMO and their native counterparts, as well as cost-effective multi-chain stable swaps. For the project's sustainability, fees generated from Nebula Standard pools are automatically used to buy back and burn the AXV token (Astrovault's native token), while fees from Plasma Stable pools are retained as Protocol Owned Liquidity. Astrovault has outlined a roadmap that included its launch in Q3 2023, the launch of the AXV token in Q1 2024, NFT integrations in Q1 2024, and plans for future deployments and EVM integration.
