XFai (XFIT) is a Web3 project designed as a Decentralized Exchange (DEX) aimed at improving liquidity and efficiency within the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Its primary goal is to address the issue of fragmented liquidity, especially prevalent among mid and small-cap tokens on existing DEXs. Fragmented liquidity often leads to increased slippage and higher transaction costs for traders. The project introduces a novel double weighted constant market maker design. This architectural approach allows for every token within the XFai DEX to be directly swappable with any other token in a single transaction, aiming to significantly reduce slippage. A key distinction of XFai's design is the absence of traditional token pairs; instead, each token maintains a singular pool. The XFIT token acts as a bridge, forming virtual reserves between all other tokens in the ecosystem. This structure is intended to foster more concentrated liquidity. XFai also incorporates a DEX Liquidity Oracle (DLO), which initially served as a decentralized oracle provider to manage and supply token liquidity to partner DEXs, thereby addressing gas fee concerns. The platform emphasizes offering low gas fees for swaps, particularly within the Linea ecosystem. Furthermore, its DEX allows for one-sided liquidity provisioning, a feature that distinguishes it from some other automated market maker models. The native utility token of the project is XFIT. This token can be staked through XFai's Infinity Staking program, allowing participants to earn fees generated from swaps on the platform. A notable aspect of the staking mechanism is that staked XFIT tokens are burned, contributing to a deflationary token economy. XFIT also serves a crucial function within the DEX's architecture by forming virtual reserves and acting as a bridge token for swaps. Additionally, the token has governance functionalities, enabling holders to participate in decisions related to the ecosystem's development. XFai was founded in 2020 by Taulant Ramabaja. The project is designed to be chain agnostic, with aspirations to deploy on numerous EVM-compatible blockchains.
