The base value of stkAPT, relative to kAPT, increases over time due to these accruing rewards, making it a capital-efficient form of APT. Users can claim these rewards by either unstaking their stkAPT or trading it on DEX partners on Aptos. Kofi Finance emphasizes providing users with the ability to stake their APT without sacrificing liquidity, which is a common limitation in traditional staking. The platform aims to promote decentralization by supporting a wide range of validators, including smaller, community-run operators. Staked Kofi ensures composability within the Aptos DeFi ecosystem, allowing kAPT and stkAPT to be utilized in various decentralized finance applications while continuously earning rewards.
