MILK2 is the primary governance and farmable token within the ecosystem, featuring a higher supply and a halving mechanism designed to manage inflation. SHAKE is the platform's ultra-rare reserve token, with a supply capped between 5,000 and 10,000. While MILK2 is used for daily operations and farming rewards, SHAKE can only be minted by burning MILK2 tokens. Holding SHAKE allows users to receive a portion of the MILK2 rewards generated across the platform.

Shadow Staking is an innovative feature that allows users to earn rewards without transferring their Liquidity Provider (LP) tokens to the platform's smart contracts. By keeping the LP tokens in your own private digital wallet, you maintain full custody of your assets. This provides an extra layer of security, as your assets remain protected from potential platform-side smart contract vulnerabilities or hacks while you still participate in the staking process.

The Blender is a tool used to convert MILK2 tokens into the rare SHAKE token. When users use the Blender, their MILK2 tokens are permanently burned, effectively reducing the circulating supply and creating deflationary pressure. To maintain the scarcity of SHAKE, the protocol uses a dynamic conversion rate where the cost to mint a new SHAKE token increases by one MILK2 for every new token minted.

MILK2 was initially launched on the Ethereum network and has since expanded to include the BNB Chain and Avalanche. This multi-chain approach allows users to choose the network that best fits their needs regarding transaction fees and speed. To move tokens between these different ecosystems, the project provides a blockchain bridge that facilitates the secure transfer of assets across supported chains.

To participate in these opportunities, users are typically required to hold or stake a minimum amount of MILK2 tokens. SHAKE holders are entitled to a 2.5% share of all MILK2 tokens farmed across the protocol. These rewards are distributed to holders periodically, usually occurring every 100,000 blocks on the Ethereum network. This mechanism provides SHAKE holders with passive utility, incentivizing the long-term holding of the reserve token and the ongoing burning of MILK2 through the Blender tool.
