OpenSky Finance (OSKY) is introduced as the first hybrid NFT lending and borrowing protocol. It uniquely combines peer-to-pool and peer-to-peer lending functionalities, leveraging external DeFi protocols. Its core mission is to enable NFT holders across various blockchains, including Ethereum and Bitcoin, to unlock liquidity from their digital assets. A key innovation is its discrete time-based liquidation (DTBL), designed to enhance the borrower experience by minimizing price-based liquidation risks and reducing potential bad debt. This approach aims for high capital efficiency in NFT collateralized loans.

OpenSky Finance operates by allowing lenders to deposit funds into pools, which are then utilized within external DeFi protocols to generate passive income. Lenders earn from these external protocols and from instant loan borrowers. Borrowers can use whitelisted NFT collections as collateral to secure immediate loans, typically a percentage of the NFT's floor price. Lenders maintain control over defining loan parameters such as the borrowing amount, term duration, and Annual Percentage Rate (APR). The platform also supports customizable peer-to-peer loans, offering flexibility, and enables borrowers to seamlessly transition between peer-to-pool and peer-to-peer lending models.

The $OSKY token serves as the governance token for the OpenSky Protocol, empowering its community. Holders and delegators of $OSKY form the OpenSkyDAO, which manages the protocol through a weighted voting system proportional to the amount of $OSKY tokens held. Key utilities include voting on crucial protocol parameters, such as interest fees and which NFT collections are whitelisted for collateral. Additionally, $OSKY holders can participate in staking, yield farming initiatives, and contribute to the governance of the DAO Treasury, playing an active role in the project's evolution.

The $OSKY token has a total supply capped at 100,000,000 units. The distribution is structured as follows: 51% is allocated to the Community for initiatives like airdrops, staking, farming, and business development, subject to DAO governance. Investors receive 21%, locked for three months with linear vesting over 18 months. The Team & Advisors are allocated 13.8%, locked for six months with linear vesting over 18 months. The DAO Treasury holds 9%, locked for six months with linear vesting over 48 months. Initial Liquidity accounts for 4%, and 1.2% was distributed via a Free Launchpad at the Token Generation Event.

OpenSky Finance's roadmap outlines several strategic expansions and feature implementations. Key upcoming developments include broadening NFT lending support to include collections on the Bitcoin blockchain, such as BitcoinCats NFT. The project also plans to launch an Airdrop points program, enabling users to farm $OSKY and partner tokens. A real yield staking program is slated for $OSKY holders, allowing them to share in the protocol's revenue generated from Bitcoin and Ethereum assets. Further expansion involves supporting NFT lending on the Solana blockchain and deploying omnichain NFT lending to the Blast chain, aiming for reduced gas fees and broader accessibility.

OpenSky Finance prioritizes security by integrating information security practices into its systems and networks, adhering to international standards. The platform collaborates with third-party vendors to implement robust authentication controls. Sensitive information is safeguarded through encryption using 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Furthermore, OpenSky Finance's operational model includes passing lender deposits to the extensively tested smart contracts of a well-established external DeFi protocol. This integration leverages the proven security framework of this partner, enhancing the overall reliability and safety of the lending operations for its users.
