Omnipair is a decentralized DeFi hyperstructure built on the Solana blockchain that enables permissionless lending and margin trading for any token pair. Unlike traditional platforms that require manual approval for new assets, Omnipair is designed to be oracle-free and permissionless. This allows users to create markets for long-tail assets, including smaller or newer tokens that are typically excluded from major lending protocols.

Omnipair utilizes a Generalized Automated Market Maker (GAMM) model that unifies liquidity for both swaps and lending within a single pool. In traditional DeFi, these functions are often separated. By combining them, capital deposited by liquidity providers is used simultaneously to facilitate trades and provide loans to margin traders. This maximizes capital efficiency and enables providers to earn dual yields from both swap fees and interest.

Most lending protocols rely on external price feeds, which can be vulnerable to manipulation or technical failure. Omnipair eliminates this dependency by being oracle-free, using an internal Exponential Moving Average (EMA) of its own pool prices to determine debt pricing and liquidations. This innovation allows the protocol to support a wider range of assets that may not have reliable external price feeds, increasing security and accessibility.

To protect the protocol from bad debt and minimize market impact, Omnipair employs a "Streaming Liquidations" mechanism. Instead of liquidating a user's entire collateralized position at once during a price drop, the protocol gradually streams the collateral back into the liquidity pool. This reduces the risk of sudden market crashes and provides a more stable environment for all participants compared to traditional liquidation methods.

OMFG acts as an ownership coin for the protocol, offering more than just basic voting rights. It grants holders governance influence, ownership over underlying intellectual property, and potential future fee-sharing benefits. Governance is managed via "Futarchy," a model where decisions are driven by prediction markets. This system ensures that proposals enacted are those the market predicts will most effectively increase the long-term value of the protocol.
