Insrt Finance is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol focused on Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). Its primary goal is to provide users with opportunities to generate profits from their NFTs by depositing funds into specialized Vaults. The platform aims to simplify the process for NFT holders, traders, and Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) to earn returns from their non-fungible assets. The core product of Insrt Finance is called ShardVaults. These allow users to gain fractional NFT spot exposure combined with passive yield farming. Shards are essentially NFTs that represent a fractional ownership stake in a larger, base NFT held within a ShardVault. This base NFT is then utilized to generate yield. Insrt Finance operates as a DeFi project on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC), offering NFT yield farming where staking the $INSRT token can potentially lead to BNB rewards based on holding time, while also providing trading flexibility. The project describes itself as a "one-stop solution for metaverse capital markets." The Insrt Finance protocol officially launched in December (prior to March 2023). The entity behind the project, Insrt Labs, was established in March 2022 by co-founders Lauris Zvirbulis, Daniel Tsoy, and a pseudonymous crypto trader known as "hentai avenger." Insrt Labs successfully raised 2.2 million dollars in a pre-seed funding round. This round was co-led by Hashkey Capital and Infinite Capital, with additional participation from other investors. The funding was secured through a Simple Agreement for Future Tokens (SAFT). Regarding its native token, $INSRT, the total supply is stated to be 10 million tokens. While the token is an integral part of the ecosystem, information regarding its live price, market capitalization, or trading volume is not yet publicly available, and it is not currently listed for trading on major exchanges.
