aPriori is an advanced MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) infrastructure and liquid staking protocol specifically designed for the Monad blockchain. It focuses on achieving high-performance transaction execution and optimizing "order flow coordination." Unlike traditional staking, aPriori aims to capture and redistribute additional value through MEV, thereby offering enhanced yields to its stakers.

APR is the native coordination and governance token of the aPriori protocol. It enables holders to vote on crucial protocol parameters, ecosystem incentives, and serves as a utility token for platform functions. In contrast, aprMON is the Liquid Staking Token (LST) you receive when staking native Monad (MON) tokens through aPriori. aprMON is "reward-bearing," meaning its value appreciates relative to MON over time as staking rewards and MEV profits accumulate, making each aprMON token intrinsically more valuable.

"MEV-powered" liquid staking describes aPriori's innovative approach to generate additional yield for stakers by leveraging Maximal Extractable Value (MEV). This mechanism involves capturing profits derived from the optimal ordering and execution of transactions on the Monad blockchain. By strategically managing transaction sequencing, aPriori extracts this additional value and redistributes it, resulting in higher overall yields compared to standard Proof-of-Stake (PoS) rewards. This system maximizes returns while maintaining network efficiency.

The Genesis Airdrop, which occurred post-October 2025 token launch, primarily rewarded early contributors and specific community members. Eligibility criteria included participation in the testnet, holding certain recognized NFTs such as MadLads and Moonbirds, and active staking of aprMON tokens. Contributors to the "Order-Flow Data Knowledge Graph" were also recognized. While a "Season 2" isn't confirmed, approximately 17-22% of the total supply is allocated for ecosystem growth, hinting at potential future community allocations or incentives.

The total and maximum supply of the native APR token is fixed at 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) APR tokens. This ensures a clear and finite supply for the coordination and governance token of the aPriori protocol.

aPriori utilizes a "reward-bearing" liquid staking model, similar to other prominent protocols. This means that instead of your aprMON token count increasing in your wallet, the value of each individual aprMON token relative to Monad (MON) grows over time. As staking rewards and MEV profits are generated by the protocol, they are "pushed" back into the intrinsic value of aprMON, causing its exchange rate against MON to gradually increase, reflecting the accumulated earnings.
