Elektrik (ELTK) is a decentralized exchange (DEX) operating on the LightLink network. Its core protocol is designed to facilitate gasless transactions, aiming to enhance the overall trading experience for users. The ELTK token economy is central to the project, serving to incentivize participation in governance and to increase returns for those involved in the protocol. The project positions itself as a professional-grade DEX, focusing on providing sophisticated trading tools and dynamic methods for liquidity provision. Elektrik aims to attract professional traders by offering efficient transaction speeds and minimizing or eliminating gas fees. It operates as a peer-to-peer trading platform, removing the need for intermediaries or centralized market makers. Elektrik incorporates advanced trading features to optimize capital efficiency, including various order types such as iceberg orders, limit orders, stop losses, and conditional orders, giving traders more control and flexibility. It also utilizes gasless rebalancing smart contracts to improve capital efficiency, mitigate the risks of impermanent loss, and boost returns for liquidity providers. Leveraging the LightLink network, Elektrik benefits from a cost-effective and efficient trading environment. The LightLink's gas station functionality allows Elektrik to cover gas costs for its users, which supports high-volume and high-frequency trading without the burden of excessive transaction fees. The tokenomics of ELTK are structured to reward users who lock their tokens for extended periods, fostering stability and improving the stickiness of liquidity pools. Holders of veELTK tokens receive a yield that is determined by the trading volume of the pools they have voted for, along with rebase amounts. The project's roadmap included the launch of Elektrik V1 testnet and mainnet in Q3 2023. Subsequent plans involved an audit for Elektrik V2 smart contracts and the launch of Elektrik V2 mainnet in Q1 2024, which introduced advanced trading functionalities such as Limit Orders through an Advanced Order Matching Engine, Stop Loss/Take Profit, and TWAP Orders. The platform's staking contract, which is based on Pancake Swap, allows users to deposit and manage LP tokens, contributing to the ecosystem's liquidity. Reward calculations for stakers are based on dynamic algorithms that consider the duration of active stakes and the total staked amounts.
